| 曹思源，北京学者，涉猎政治、经济、法律、思想诸领域及相关咨询事务。曾先后供职于中共中央党校、国务院研究中心、国务院办公厅及国家经济体制改革委员会。1988年下海，创建民办社会科学研究及咨询机构。因曾主持起草中国第一部企业破产法、倡导竞争性产业私有化、反复提出修改宪法建议，而被称为"曹破产"、"曹私有"、"曹宪政"，1999年被《亚洲周刊》评为影响中国新世纪的50位名人之一。 |

| Cao Siyuan is a Beijing independent scholar, engaging in politics, economics, laws, ideology and relevant consultation. He worked in the Central Party School, Research Center of the State Council, the General Office of the State Council and the State Committee for Economic System Reform. In 1988, Cao quit his job to set up a Non-Government Organization on social sciences research and consultant. He was given the titles "Bankruptcy Cao", "Privatization Cao" and "Constitutional Cao" because of drafting Chinese first Bankruptcy Law, advocating competitive industry's privatization, proposing constitution amendment repeatedly. In 1999, he was chosen by Asiaweek as one of the 50 famous people who will influence China in the new century. |
